ITs the 3rd hard core 1st gen for the site; can't wait to see the build and the completed ride. Now we need some 2nd gen trucks to show what can be done with them.

I see you have the a/c compressor and an air compressor on your truck - are you running a stock exhaust manifold or a header? I am getting ready to put my A/C back on and run a rotary compressor in about the same place, but it is going to be on a Conquest motor with an old school side draft weber in a draw through configuration. Its going to be very crowded on the right side on my engine compartment. LMK about how you did yours. Sorry about the misspell on your name before.

My stock A/C compressor is just acting as a pulley so I can wrought my Belt driven air compressor belt around the crank. I took my stock A/C out to make the body drop easier on myself. Do I miss it Hell yeah I do, its been 60+ Days in texas OVER 100 degrees...

Did it make the body drop a HELL of a lot easier to do, YUP! I can always go with Vintage Air setup later, using my factory compressor.

I have original compressor brackets to mount the york style compressor where you have the A/C compressor now; the compressor lays on its side though - it may not fit with the body drop...

The York is ok to lay on its side, as long as the compressor's SUCTION side is ABOVE the discharge side. If the discharge is Above the suction, you will have oil flowing issues.

I wish the dash fit pefectly... Had to cut 8 inches out of the middle between the glove box and the radio delete panel, then I had to weld up the speaker grill hole and A/C holes that were in the top of the dash. Then I welded the dash into the truck and did all the body work.. Lots of work, but I love the end result!

lol yea I didnt mean it fit in their perfectly stock, but after the chopping and shaving it looks like it came in there. I believe his grille is an old body style Chevy 1500 grille cut down.

you are correct!! Bought the full phantom grile, then I cut like 5 bars off of the top, centerted the grille in the truck, then I marked both ends with the fenders and I cut them off to match the curve.

I will as soon as I can. I am stuck on a few issues with the truck. Do you have any pics of your from bag setup? I am trying to figure out a few things and I can't find anyone that has a few good pics for me to use as a example.
