    Flowmaster 40 series or cherrybomb?

Hey everyone, im wondering what you would recommend for a g54b with a tri-y header and 2.25 exhaust. I want it to scream but still have backpressure. i want my 86' ram 50 to be just as loud as these 85' toyotas you see mudding. im thinking of either a cherrybomd 18" glasspack or a 13" body 19" overall Flowmaster 40 series. What do you recomend to make my 2.6 LOUD. im leaning toward the Flowmaster. i want it LOUD! THROATY AND DEEP. Please help.

I read a super 44 or flowmaster 60 is better suited for 4 and 6 cylinders then the 40. The 40 is the loudest pure Flowmaster sound for the buck and built with v8 in mind mostly. However, our trucks are long stroked semi-hemi engines with a single cam. A lot of aspects of v8's. How do you think the tone of a Flowmaster will effect the 2.6's rice. I bet it could sound good. Any suggestions on what i should get?

I run a flowmaster 40 series delta flow and love the tone on it with my 4g63t. Nice and deep and throaty, sounds badass

I have a Flowmaster in my truck and a Magnaflow in my Lancer. The Flowmaster definitely has more balls, hands down.

Depends on which model of muffler you get also, because my friend has a Magnaflow on his Tacoma and it sounds a lot louder, and a little ricey, where as my flowmaster (40 delta flow) has a quiter but deeper tone

I'm running Pace Setter Headers w/ 50 series Flowmaster muffler. 2.25" from header to muffler. 2" dual straight back. It ended up being a little louder than I was expecting. It being loud would have been a good thing if it were a bigger motor with a deeper tone. But overall I'm happy with the performance of it.

Geronimo is running the 44 series flowmaster 2.25 in to dual 2 outs and has a good deep tone to his exhaust. I have a weber and currently have the pacesetter header on him, but will be changing it out for a doug thorley tri y as the pacesetter is about shot after 23 years or so.

I have a pacsetter header going into my cherry bomb and it sounds like dog $hit, but I don't really care for the sound of a little 4 banger that sounds like all the hoped up Honda's out there. So its going to the shop next month for a new quite exhausts maybe even give me a little back pressure
