    I used a length of alu extrusion for mounting brackets and front mounted an 11" thermo fan in the front of my Colt (think Plymouth Colt...you know, that weird little fwd thing circa 80's a-la Mitsubishi) Bigger fan = faster cool down time. And you can add a fail safe to the electrical side of it - bridging a toggle switch to the relay will allow you to override the thermo sender unit when a catastrophic cooling system failure occurs. Might be the difference between a brief boil over on the side of the road and a cracked cylinder head...

    I like where your heads at geezer. I never would have considered this sort of toggle switch set up--very prudent.
