I am wondering what engine and transmission I have and where I can buy an idler pulley. I am located in Ramstein Germany and my truck is in Florida which I will be back with in a few months. Other ideas that I would like to learn about would be to install a turbo diesel in it one day. Any help is greatly appreciated

ebay has the pulley, or rockauto. You can also use one from a conquest / starion motor - they are also 2.6 motors

You have the g54b motor, the transmission is probably KM145?, should say on the plate on the firewall when you get back to your truck. Not sure that your 2.6 has a timing chain idler pulley that can be replaced, I don't remember one when I redid a bunch of stuff on my old 2.6.

Thanks for the help! When I get back Stateside I will check it out. I would like to switch out the engine with a Turbo Diesel but I am thinking that will be more of a hassle than it's really worth. Once again thanks for all the help and info!
