    Power potential of 4G52?

This guy claims 146HP at the wheels on a hybrid A1/A2 engine.

Pennyman said John Baker claimed 160 at the wheels out of a G54B with the Mikuni muscle cam, Tri-Y headers and side draft Mikuni carbs.

So is the Aussie guy bullshitting or what?

There is quite a bit of work done to that 4g52 - that is possible, actually even low for the work done. The 160HP with the baker setup was on an otherwise stock internals block and head. With the head shaved for higher compression, bigger valves, ported head, Tri - Y header, and the sidedrafts tuned to the motor, 185 - 200 HP would be where you would be on a g54b.
