Question 91 4G64 starting issues after head gasket

So i replaced my head gasket after it blew on my 1991 mitsubishi might max 2.4l. through this forum i found where everything is supposed to be lined up. I have the cam, the crank, and the distributor, all correctly aligned finally and it fired once as I tried to start it and now it wont fire anymore. coil, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, starter, battery, are all new. its getting fuel and spark but it wont start or fire.

    Can someone please help?

The cam timing is off by one tooth. The mark on the head is kind of hard to read in the book. If it's a belt you need to use this mark. http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin...am-Timing-Mark

common mistake with these motors - most manuals are wrong on this - that is why we made a sticky for it.
