    balance shaft bearing install 2

Took my mm to machine shop to have the balance shaft bearings installed . This Is not inline with the hole??? This is not right correct?pics.I specifically asked the machine shop to line them up as I was going to keep my balance shaft.is this something that I need to worry about if I do install it seeing there is only one bearing on that side ? My concerns are if it will get oil through the galley if it is blocked?

So this is for the rear balance shaft, the one driven by the oil pump? If it is then it is fine. That shaft receives its oil supply from its bearing surface inside the oil pump housing.

if its the outer bearing then no it is not right if you are retaining the balance shaft. If its the inner shaft bearing, it is fed through the balance shaft I believe.

That one is oiled directly from the oil pump, so the bearing can be installed anyway.
