    Are the manifolds the same?

Is the intake manifold on the 1980 D-50 2.6 liter engine the same for all non-California engines? They all have the same port spacing etc?

Yes they are the same for the 79 and 80 2.6 g54b motors, as well as the 2.0 g52b of the same 79 and 80 timeline. 81 is when the intakes change from 2 bolts next to the thermostat to 1 bolt by the stat and one under the intake.

Thank you Pennyman. Everyone should pray they never have to remove this setup; it's a royal pain in the butt. Finding parts is getting almost impossible. Took a week of searching to find one used intake manifold for "W" 1980 engine. It's on the way, hopefully, and correct. I looked into rebuilding the carburetor ... horror oh horror! Not taking on that one! I did find a shop willing to do the work, maybe salvage the old manifold with a new dual-sized stud. If not, the replacement should handle it. The gasket? lol! Had to order one from the Felt-Pro factory!!
