Finally got time to work on the 94 and replaced the rear main seal before I attempt to wrestle the tranny back in. However, I installed the seal and then saw the Haynes instruction to position the "oil separator hole" at the bottom. I did not notice the hole so I have no idea of its position. Do I need to redo this? I don't believe I can remove it without damaging it so it would mean buying another.
