    power steering gearbox

    Hi all has anybody had a power steering box go bad or at the most get a little sloppy mine likes to wonder a inch or two while keeping in lane tried tighten the top jam no difference thinking its wore out thanks

    yes - the pitman arm bearing goes bad and causes slop in the shaft. No easy way to repair it; if you have a 2wd a starquest steering box will work in place of the truck one.

    Are there 2 seals on the output shaft that the pitman arm connects to? Mine is leaking.
