Can anyone ID this 1st gen roll bar?

Was this a factory option with the decals? Are any of these still in existence?

I think it was after market. Good luck finding one. You would be better off having one bent up and fit to your truck. I'm sure a local guy could whip one out fairly quickly and easily. Just start asking around who can bend 2 inch tubing.

Hey, Camoit, I've seen your work. Can you bend one of these up for me? You're local.

Did John Baker get into roll bars for the 1st gen.? seems to look like the bar is sitting back from cab a little also. Could use a forward bend to take in that empty space gap between it and the cab.

The support bar with the logo in the OP sets it off for me. So clean.

that looks like a factory 2nd gen rollbar mounted back from the cab to land on the wheelwells - Dodge Hemi 7's truck has the same rollbar without the brace between the tubes.

Bring it over. Send me a PM with your phone number. PS: I only have dies for 1.5 inch. But you can buy me dies for the 2 inch. https://www.irvansmith.com/scart/shoe-8132-p-479.html

Cool. I'm trying to get up to DG Headers in Auburn for a paired port Tri Y, pick up a bed liner from Dropped Mitsu in Vacaville so maybe I can make your shop on the third stop on the way.

Dom is going to need your truck for about a week or two. He will need to have a header plate laser cut first. We need the paired port to use for the fitting and to make a jig. I'm on the way up to him so if you want to stop off here on the way up we can go over what you may want. If you have a first gen I can build from the one I have in the yard. I know he is going to buy dies for his CNC mandrel bender in the near future. But they are around $18,000 for them so it's going to be some time tell he gets them. His major work is drag boats. Once he has them then it's just a matter of demand and time for him build up a program for the headers. His new machine was around $120,000 but it's nice..

Thanks Camo. Mine's 1989. I called him a few weeks ago, he said it would take about a week to get it done. Very cool of him to take a small job like this. I don't have a ride back down so I guess I'll take Amtrak. I can get you the 2" die for the light bar. I have a brand new exhaust manifold gasket and a spare paired port head I can donate to the cause if he needs them for the jig. I'll be in touch. I also lucked into a sweet JDM Ralliart stainless catback exhaust that would match up with the header nicely I think. My life is crazy right now but I want to get this done soon instead of being wishy washy.

Not cheap, but I don't want cheap. I want to buy exactly once, for life. I also want US and locally made.

    WHA--

    The F-F-Fear Monger??

Ha, that's very kind of you but a just lift to the Amtrak station would be nice, honestly.

All I ask is it's the scenic route to the Amtrak station, the one that goes over sand dunes and through muddy bogs.
    I'll navigate, World Rally style.

Bring Erin Michelle and her cowgirl boots, too. She can ride in my lap.
