    Bucket seats with custom console?

Just wanted to get a feel for what you guys think of bucket seats with a custom center console? I am unsure on replacing bench or doing buckets. Doing buckets allows me to make a armrest and cup holders along with maybe a charging port for an ipod or something. Let me know what you think. By the way the build will be for my daughter who will be sixteen so it wont need to make into any mini truck mags lol.
    Thanks

buckets...allows for arm rest, easier access to the junk stored behind seats, she won't be driving 2 other people around, etc...

That does sound better. Are they hard to adapt or pretty easy to get them to mount? A buddy of mine has three different sets of buckets that I can pick from so I want to get a set and see how mounting is.

OEM 2 piece center consoles are one of the hardest to find factory options.

I will check the junkyards and see if I can find one. There is about 6 or 7 trucks there might be one. The factory would be nice.

2nd gen are drilled for buckets and bench -if your truck is a bench, get the seat tracks off another bench seat, and you will have a set of tracks that will match the holes in the floor for buckets. I have changed seats in Geronimo so many times in 35 years that I forgot just how many sets it has been. The current set have been in the longest.

the bench rails need to be from the same truck to match, or you can make them fit.

I am unsure what they came off of. So I will have to find out. This place is full of tons of knowledge and I appreciate all the help you guys provide. Hopefully after my build I will be able to start helping more than asking

most everyone on here starts by asking questions - we want to keep as many of these trucks on the road as possible.
