Daffy The Ugly (soon not so ugly) D50

The build thread of my 1988 Dodge Ram50 g63b 5speed that I picked up off my old boss at Pennzoil or $700. I bought him with original 17,526 miles on it. It has badges from a dealership down in Kentucky, story is a guy was in Ohio bought some new tires for it at Walmart and then went to Pennzoil to get the oil changed, made it to the interstate and the engine locked up due to the incorrect oil filter. Towed it back to Pennzoil where they replaced the bottom end and then it wouldn't run right so they replaced the carb and still wouldn't run right so the owner sold it to my boss who put it out back where it sat for a year until I started working there. After a few months later and paying it off in small amounts I finally bought it. I am attending school at UNOH and so I've been working on it at school and come to find out the problem was the spark plug wires were switched around... and now he runs like a champ but burns about a quart of oil every 150-200 miles but I believe its just the valve stem seals.

That is really cool, those headlights you did really make the front look great. Great idea! And the added black on hood and rocker panel area also another great look. Makes it look 4x4ish. Not to sure about those Perfumed dice on the mirror though, fad went out many years ago...
All and all you enhanced that truck up pretty good with that plastic dip stuff. I'm going to have to try some of that on my MR2 rims I think.

    Good job!

thanks I like the plastidip cause it gives you a chance to see if you'll like the design before you go and put real pant on it and I've always want my own car with fuzzy dice lmfao

    check this idle out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrOszwIMErE

put your head phones on, lol. Gets a little metallic sounding when stepping around the hood, its the pick up on the camera sound doing that it's a cheap camera.

Why the fender mirrors? One year of the old Toyota celica had them. Not a fan of them, but your truck sports them OK

Give us the name of that shifter and part number. You can't dangle the stuff and not tell us what it is.

The NOS bottle is a subwoofer lol. I did probably 5-7 runs on the truck got the carb all tuned in happy but it put down 55hp and 87ft-lbs of torque.
