1989 Mighty Max clutch cable cracking firewall

Whats up everyone, im having a problem with the force of the clutch cable cracking the firewall around the mount next to my adjustment, if so what did you do to reinforce the firewall or has anyone came out with a remedy for this yet? Thanks for reading

also, if your using a stiffer clutch after you gusset the fire wall you may want to look at the arm that comes out of the transmission that the cable goes too, that will be the next thing to break after the firewall flex is fixed. i have seen people re-enforce them with strap steel welded to both sides
