Cam Regrinds: The good, the bad, the ugly....i wanna know!!!!

ok so it's come to that time, i wanna send my cam out for a regrind. I've never built a engine before that didn't have aftermarket camshafts already available for them (Built PLENTY of motors, just not one this "obscure"). I've called and talked to Schindler Cams already and they seemed to do enough import stuff by the sound of it and told me just to make sure i include every aspect of my build so they can pick a grind that will fit, which makes since to me. but, i have also read about Oregon cam grinders and Delta cams too, but nothing for the SOHC G63B/4G64 that i've heard of from them. maybe Pennyman1 may know something from the Starion/conquest side of Mitsubishi's? who they normally use?

Schneider did the cam for BradMPH's G63B. They have mutilple profiles available online. I was going to send mine there because they've already done one and Brad was happy with it (I think).

well it has to do with the way the metal is built up on the cam and then reground down. Schneider does spray welding from what i've read and webcams does hardwelding with different metals. i'm about to have another 4G64 after Christmas anyways make 2 that i''ll have, so i may just send one cam to each and see what each one comes up with.

I've got 2 4G64 cams now and I've thought about sending one to schinder and one to Webb and see who come out on top. And then just sell the other one. Someone will gladly take it im sure lol
