Limited slip or locking rear diff for an 87 MM

I know that some models had these, as well as some Monteros. I cannot find anything for purchase at any price online.

The junk yard is probably your best bet.

So far I havent found a junkyard in my state with ANY mighty max, and no monteros older than 2000 or so. I will keep an eye out.

Use car-part.com to locate your salvage yard parts. It shows a bunch in NC but they are over a hundred miles from Apex. Good luck!

Power Brute LOM-83 is an aftermarket option. There's one on eBay now.

I did a post earlier this year on the buying a brand new limited slip from the company that made them originally in Japan. Last I knew they still had several left. I'm not sure of the price now, the manager had giver me a group buy price at that time. As I recall it was pretty reasonable for a brand new part.

Somewhat of an old post, after driving my truck for a few days I forgot how much this thing loved to spin chicken leggers in the rain (let alone the snow we have coming soon). Was wonder if the LOM83 fit the 2wd mighty maxs?
