88 MM with a 2.0 and Manual trans.
Parking light has been turning on in 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear, I'm assuming it could be associated with a trouble light for the trans or just a faulty sensor. Any ideas?

By "parking light", do you mean the green turn-signal indicators in the dash? Coming on as if the emergency blinkers were on? If so, sounds like a wire flopping around somewhere. So far as I know, the manual transmissions don't have trouble lights.

Sorry, I'm used to calling it a parking brake, I've also heard it called emergency brake though.
Looking at the gauge cluster its in the top left of the gauge cluster, but is the bottom right light, like so (I colored it in red) 2n00u2x.jpg

Top off your brake fluid and make sure the sensor is not stuck.
