the gasket set is only the head gasket replacement set - won't have the oil filter one - you need the lower gasket set for that. Oil pump should be ok, as well as the clutch set for a stock motor.

k great thanks for input. Like i said im not wanting to put a massive amount of money in the stock motor but want it to work reliably for a short time.
Found a mildly built 302 with some kind of hybrid built trans (getting more info on that) that most likely will be on the stand for a little while before undertaking the swap so its a all at once build

Make your own using an oil safe gasket material and a hammer to edge cut the gasket using the housing as a guide. Just lay material on housing and tap tap tap with hammer along the edge material using the housing to cut material. Makes a perfect gasket without buying a full set. I had the same problem with my latest rebuild. I then just wiped a very thin coat of gasket maker on both sides of gasket before installation and have had not one drop leak.

Mitsubishi made 2 style oil pumps that fit the G63B, the small one and oversized one. I replaced my smaller version 1st gen 1986 2.0L pump with the oversized 2nd gen 1987 2.0L version and it made a heck of a difference.

I see you painted block the same color as LSRMike favorite color.

What kind of gasket material would you suggest? I have the universal fel-pro crap but i dont trust it on that. Also this is 86.5 2 gen 2.0 with the oversized oil bracket thingie. Which by the way what the hell is that officially called?? Ive seen it called Oil filter housing, oil filter bracket, Its not a pump as thats the big assembly on the front of the block that goes under some pullies

When you hit the auto store ask them. I went to O'reilles and they asked me what I was using it for. I got the roll. Not sure exactly what that part is called, I installed a new operating system and have not re-installed my CAPS or ASA program yet for part numbers and names. sorry
