I think at those prices the fitment of the replacement panels would be 'iffy' at best. But, if they're close and its easier to alter the new knock offs compared to repairing what you got, might be worth the extra effort. A lot of aftermarket panels are garbage (the cheap panel shops will buy them and spend another 4 hours trying to get this junk they've ordered to line up - it's a false economy...)
The site doesnt look like much but every once in awhile you find a diamond in the rough.. Use to try to hang certi-fit sheet metal and wow the fitmit was always horrid, like you got the wrong model year (super suprised they dont make sheet metal for our trucks). I may guinee pig on the rockers and let my bodyman friend install them (he was 1 of the ones I use to help try to hang certi-fit junk with), his old boss got him well accustumed to fighting poorly made sheet metal and making it work..lol.... $22 for a rocker panel and $90 for a fender isnt bad.. About the same money for same parts for a 70-80 chevy truck from a company that makes good sheet metal that fits pretty decent (LMC truck I believe is the name).
I found this site by chance they list near every part for these trucks, body, interior, and mechanical
Whats the link?..lol
I got pleny of body parts...been tryin' to ditch 'em...
