This is a standard flyer I carry with me, in case I have a Local Sighting. If there are any objections to the wording or information, let me know.

    MightyRam50.net http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin/forum.php
A forum for owners of Mitsubishi Mighty Max and Dodge Ram 50 trucks -
    First generation (1979 - 1986) and Second Generation (1987 - 1996) with a
Forum just for 4-wheel drive trucks. The forum features virtually any help and specifications for these trucks, as well as a friendly community of knowledgeable enthusiasts. Feel free to visit us. Membership is free, and the site is supported by member contributions.

My user-name on the forum is “royster”, and I conduct an ongoing article titled “Local Sightings”. Your truck is of interest for this article, and I’d like your permission to photograph and post your truck on the forum. If possible, I’d also like to write a little about its history. My own Dodge Ram 50 is a 1990 4G64.

[ ] I have photographed your truck. If you wish to have it removed from the forum, please contact me - Roy [edited out for internet posting] You may use the same contacts to offer further information about your truck.

[ ] I would like to meet with you so I CAN photograph your truck and get its history from you. Please contact me if you agree to this. The information is not sold or exploited in any way.
Many thanks for your time and consideration! ~Roy

Check out this 4 door circa'91 Mighty Max (sort of) flat bed truck...starting from the 2 minute mark, for about 20 seconds.

Spotted this spirited-looking Power Ram today. I was unable to talk to the owner, so I don't have any information about it, other than what you see.

    BLASPHEMY!!?!?! lol

Doesn't this thing run multiple coil packs? And it needs full headrest seats in it (so your neck doesn't break, causing your head to tear off and fly through the glass and into the tray...)

Just noticed the coil in the lion brown beer can. I wondered if the V8 would fit, I have a ton of space between the crank and radiator for an extra cylinder. Looks like something has been clearances for a bigger radiator tho

I doubt it's got neck snapping acceleration, mainly because the tyres need to be about 3 times wider to not turn into smoke

Roll bar is on my list too. The only thing that stopped the PO of my wreck from having his head redecorate his cab was a flimsy tie down bar on the factory tray. He wasn't able to get out of the cab in a hurry too with the turret crushed over the doors...but he still drove it back to his house

I'd imagine the local fire crew could have helped convert it into a convertable

The guy selling that ute won't part it out and wants 3500 for it
The tyres are a week old and the engine had just been rebuilt (hopefully not run upside down)
Oh and - it's still got 5 months of rego and wofs on it
Haha, good luck with claiming its legal to drive to the local constabulary

Technically not a LOCAL sighting, but an interesting 5 minute view of a 1979 D-50.
