lower control arm

I finally got to putting on the driver side lowering spring, i put the other side on with no problems but now cant put the lower control arm back on. I use a jack but the arm goes up crooked so the bolt doesnt line up. If i line up the two holes on the inside the outside bolt doesnt come through and vice versa. Will taking out the tie rod end help at all? Or is there any other method other than jacking it up. Thanks guys.
