Sure. You can put just about any engine into any vehicle. It will require extensive fabrication and a great deal of time. Virtually everything will have to be custom made/designed to adapt it.
you can do anything with enough time/money/skill usually you can get by with just 2 sometimes it takes all 3 but the more you have of 2 the less you need of the third but is it worth it? prolly not. Is it different? definately. its your truck do what you want
It's a FWD engine and there is tonnes of ancillary stuff hanging off the 'rear' of the head overhanging the transmission housing. You'll need to think about engine mounts, sump clearance, a custom made set of headers, modified intake manifold, getting hoses to mate up to the radiator and heaters... It is a massive job and all of it will need custom fabrication. Good if you got the skills and equipment but bankruptingly expensive to outsource.
just get an engine out of an s2000 - its rwd...

and a full s2k setup will not be cheap and would provide a easy 300-400hp 4g63 so unless the s2k trans bolts up to other engines like your b18 it would get harder the thing i would do is go search honda forums to find peoples rwd builds and just do all of that into the mitsu truck being a fwd engine it should be front sump making the crossmember clearance a lot better
The B series honda engine rotates counter clockwise, you would end up with 5 reverse gears and 1 forward gear, the k series and f series in the s2000 rotates clock wise,You can buy the cams to make the B series engine rotate clockwise but your looking at $1500 or more
