When you're degreeing a Cam, how do "you" attach the degree wheel to the Crankshaft?

I have an opinion, but want to know how others have approached the problem.

Then there's the pesky problem of attaching the dial indicator (magnetic base, aluminum head)and exactly where to place the plunger. I'm lucky, I have solid lifters so I don't have to worry about the hydraulic lash adjusters.

So guys, help a brother out, ok?

I think you need a crank adapter.

Summit, Jegs all sell the crank adapters for various v8 engines.

You need to find out if one of those could work on the 4G64 crank.
