Would a hood scoop bring the weber carb cold air to burn??

Yep, it would work. To make the most of it you'd probably need to make a shroud to help direct air around the filter and stop any rain that enters it from getting to the filter too.

E-bay, Actually got a pair of Fiberglass units, painted one black and sunk it into the hood with a jigsaw (laid down a bunch of blue tape on the hood first)
It's right over my Air intake. Obviously it would go on the other side for a Weber...

also the greatest favor you can ever do for you weber is to throw that damn air filter and chrome top plate away and buy something better! because the weber is a "downdraft" carb that means it sucks air STRAIGHT DOWN, now how can it do that with the stupid filter they supply you with?

i suggest going a buying something like this that will let your weber suck air from every direction and would really help when you add your scoop
