Hey guys i was wondering what the best way to put in a fuel filter in my 89 max? it's under the bed but i don't really have any ideas on how to get it out?

You will need a fuel line wrench. other than that, get under there and remove the 2 lines, 1 in and 1 out, replace the filter, reverse the procedure.

Oh yeah, relieve the fuel line pressure.

Ok thanks! and how would i relive pressure?

No you dont have to do that. He is giving you info for a fuel injected truck, yours is an 89, it is carbed and doesnt have pressure in the fuel line. All you have to do is reach under the driver side of the bed between it and the frame and get your hand up where the filter is. It isnt too hard as long as your hands aren't too big

My bad, I don't think carb since I stopped wrenching the SBC. You will need the wrench.
