    1987 ram 50 engine swaps

    I have a 1987 ram 50 its the sports model with a G54B 2.6l and a 5 speed trans that i bought with a possiable dead cylinder so if that's the case I want to swap it with a diesel Engine that i believe were in the 80s models but im not sure what all will bolt in to my bay and trans without serious modifications so please guys write down what i can swap with but i really want a diesel.

    You need to find out if you have a wide or narrow block, but anyway this should help a little.

    He has a wide block. If you don't want to do any modifications then you need to replace it with the same engine.
