    best fuel tank removal?

I've come to the point in the truck to start working on the actual fuel system instead of just runnin fuel from a gas can, I'm just asking what's the best way to get the tank out? Im assuming taking the bed off but I didn't know if it would be easier just dropping it, thank you

Pulling the bed will do nothing - it unbolts from the bottom, and there are 8 bolts and the fuel hoses to the tank to deal with, and only 4 bolts on the tank. Remove the drain plug on the bottom of the tank to empty it and make the job easier.

that don't look good - is there any holes in the tank around the mounting flanges - look where the reinforcing plates meet the tank.

From what I've noticed it's pretty solid, altho I couldn't get the drain plug out for the life of me, there's still the one at the salvage for 20 bucks if worse comes to worse, probably actually wouldn't hurt to have a spare anyway
