I got this truck almost 15 yrs. ago and it is still getting me around after 8 other vehicles have come and gone.

I will say I have been pretty disappointed that they where all American Brands.

I should have never gotten rid of the red 2 wheel 87 truck I let go of which has led me full circle back to my current
& forever til it rusts away or I am gone 1987 Mitsubishi Mighty Max.

    Sgt. Mitsu!!!

Why Sgt. Mitsu for a name? I am a Marine. GSgt. retired. I decided to outfit my truck in the theme of
The Marine Corp. tradition..... personalized of coarse.

    So here it is.

Yeah...that was a inside to me joke.

I get a kick out of ppl trying to figure out what it is. I live in an area where all the rednecks drive chevy and fords or gmc's and some of my buddies used to F w/ me about it being a Mitsu Dodge so I put the Bow tie emblem on to F with em back!!!

It's gone now but I do have all the original emblems. Will reinstall them after body work and a good paint job.

I did some front end work...just replacing stock parts.

I would like it to end up being like a desert racer but I fly gyrocopters...
(flying is more important to me so that's where the $$ goes.) and I have
decided to keep it somewhat stock mechanically unless I just can't help myself.

It will pull my gyro around when called in to duty to do so.

What are we looking at here now. That truck isn't front wheel drive and those CVC rubber boots? Is that some handy work to protect the joints? Front end looks clean.

It is a 1987 4x4 Mitsubishi Mighty Max. It's clean because I pressure washed it and repainted everything for that like new look.

You must have missed post #5. It is not a chevy if that's what you mean.
