Fuel Injection on a 2.0 Liter

Has anyone tried to retrofit the fuel injection system from a 2.4 liter engine to a 2.0 liter carburetor engine? Specifically, I have access to a 1995 2.4 cylinder head complete with manifolds and ancillaries and was thinking about installing it on a 1989 D50 (swapping out the 2.0 liter's head and manifolds, etc.). Will that work? How much other stuff do I need: computers? are there wiring harness issues? anything else I should know?

I know they should bolt on but you would have to get the sensors, wiring harness and ecu like you said. You would also need to install a fuel pump and wire it into the engine harness so it would power up when it should. The same steps you can put on a dohc head.
