Hi all

i have finally found a great site and forums where i can get answers from fellow d-50 owners on my 1985 d50 royal. i was wondering if it is worth fixing up. it has a loose timing chain and the drive door is rotten out but the frame and tranny and the other body part are in good shape.

My 2nd Ram 50 was a 1985 Royal bought new in 85. They are worth fixing if a door is the worst part you need. You may have to travel to find a door, in another thread someone said there are 2 Mitsubishi yards in NC state - may be able to get a good door there. Welcome to the forum - we need Pics please!!! If your truck has an aluminum timing chain cover, there is an adjustment cover that you can remove to take the slack out of the chain if the guides are not too worn.

Welcome Brad, Nice to meet a fellow same namer. Enjoy the forum. Those are worth fixing and keeping as long as you know how to locate parts. Post a pic or so of your vehicle like Roy said, we like photos of trucks and cute girls and etc.
