First time Mighty Max owner here in SC

I've been trolling the forum here for a few weeks since I acquired my mighty max. Figured it was time to pop in, I bought a 92 MM from a woman who has been the owner since 96. I bought it with the knowledge that the engine had been overheated pretty bad. I am currently rebuilding the engine and am having trouble sourcing parts. My current issue is a thermostat housing, the previous owner's "mechanic" had broken off a bolt and ruined the whole housing by poorly attempting to drill out the broken bolt.. Long story short I DESPERATELY NEED A THERMOSTAT HOUSING.. Thanks for the time

I think the housing are almost all the same bolt spacing if not mistaken. Have you tried RockAuto yet. Any Mitsubishi with the same engine as yours should work fine if you have a wrecking yard close by take a stroll through with a 12mm open end. If all fails some one should have one here for you. Gallant, Eclipse are a couple names. The gaskets use the same part number MD184011 from at least 86 to 92.

Or are you talking about the entire intake manifold? If this is the issue, take it to a Aluminum welder and have the fill it and re-tap the hole.

The intake is fine just the housing is trashed. I was hoping some other mitsubishi vehicles would work but I wasn't sure about having the bungs for the sensors and TB coolant elbow. I do have yards nearby but non have anything that'll work
