What engines share the same bellhousing pattern as a 4G54B?

If I can't fuel inject and turbo this engine then I will need to ditch it for one that I can but I want to keep my 5 speed and 4wd. Is there anything else out there that will bolt to this transmission? I don't even care if it's Mitsubishi or not. I'm wanting to build something to at least 300hp and keep my 4wd set up.

So you think the Clutch, Transmission and Transfer case will hold up to 300Hp? this is what happened when I put 300 HP thru a aluminum Flywheel,
6 puck racing clutch and Pressure Plate. You may want to re-think your parts list and budget.

LOL Mike, not everyone drives a rocket ship and breaks land speed records. Though the thought of doing over 150mph does sound fun.

As for upgrade and if parts will last, this all depends on how you drive. Just about anything can last to a point, the point you hammer down is usually when things go wrong. This will happen with anything that gets upgraded to more power, then you just rebuild it to be stronger.

I think it will be fine as long as I'm not doing boosted 4wd launches. If something breaks then I'll just fix it.

starquest 2.6 bolts right in - use megasquirt to run the multiport FI and 300 hp will be easy with about 15 PSI boost.
