A nice hood scoop be neat, cover that engine from the weather and make it look nicer. I'm sort of surprized they cut a hole in hood like that.

That was a major body drop.. You can see how high the seats are. They should have built a new frame to do it the right way.

I've never owned a first gen. I was born in 79 which is one of reasons I purchased. Also knowing the arrow is hard to find. I'm used to second gens. I've had 4 or 5 now but never a first gen so I'll have some questions for you guys coming soon. I haven't had a chance to dig into truck I'm otr all the time.

Yea the. 6" body drop was done pretty good. The frame doesn't touch ground so I'm trying to decide if I wanna finish it by dooring it. Not actual door but I'll have a 1/4" plate to protect doors. The hydro setup was done with quality parts but not done properly. Don't get me wrong it works but no slowdowns the accumulators are hooked up wrong. So I just need to finesse the work a little. I'm gonna add a few small touches and decide on some wheels and wala. Those seats are getting taken out btw and probably going into my wife's 73 omega (nova)

clean truck, not digging the motor through the hood like that. The original bucket seats would fit fine with that body drop.

I'm not really digging the motor either so I'm gonna drop it sometime. I don't have the original seats or any of the dash. I only have dash cluster. If anyone has pics of original dash and how many pieces it is that would help me. I have some civic seats I think I'm gonna modify to work

The Truck Looks Awesome man ! But I have an affection for First gens.
Really don't mind the engine out, it's a look, as long as the hood cut is nice and shaped around the engine.
What gets Me is those Huge Mirrors ! Those need to go ! LOL
    (and the seats)
And what size wheels are on there right now ???

And Post up a few more pix ! Different angles, what's in the bed etc.

    Looks Awesome Slammed.

Those are some big ass 14" wheels. Lmao. Yea I'm actually torn on the mirrors. I may or may not keep them. The engine is going down sometime not sure when tho. The wheels are getting changed too.

Yeah, that's always the first thing I notice, is the 5 lugs. Wrong. LOL But I Wish !
It would be SOOO much easier to find some kewl wheels if these lil guys were 5 lug.

I'm currently shopping for some new wheels myself, but need to know what the maximum width I can go is,
    before throwing down the cash.
I keep wondering will some Chevy 18X8" fit and work, because I have a line on some
Chevy Colorado Extreme wheels, like I photoshopped in my Gallery.
I think they look Awesome, but I don't want to buy them until I KNOW they will fit.

18x8 will fit if you don't tuck. If they are gonna tuck any them I'd say 18x7 is max

Width alone doesn't decide whether rims will tuck, it is both Offset and rim width that decide that.

Hey does anyone know if the first gen frame need a Z to lay frame like second gen or no? Also has anyone reversed a body drop? I think I'm gonna redo the bodydrop to be less bodied then what it is now.
