Hey does anyone know if the first gen frame need a Z to lay frame like second gen or no? Also has anyone reversed a body drop? I think I'm gonna redo the bodydrop to be less bodied then what it is now.

yes the 1st gen needs a z to lay flat, its the same frame as the 2nd gen.You could make spacers to lift the body like a 4wd truck, but that only solves the height of the exterior of the body, doesn't fix the interior issues

Yea I may just cut out part of the ledge of the bodydrop and re-weld. My other option was to leave it the way it is and rebuild/beef up rockers. Also need to build bridge for rear hydros and I'm gonna 2 link it.

Looking good. I think it looks great laying hard. Do you still wanna undo the body drop?

I noticed your profile shows that you own an 87 truck, but this is a 1st gen in the photo. That must be weird to get out of and the ground is so close. You have any problems using the drive up ATM or bank teller window?

No. Think I'm gonna plate the rockers and custom build a cowl hood and custom fiberglass some seats.
