Very little HEAT !!!!!
I own a 1989 D50 2.6l and recently the heat has lost its strength. It blows warm air but nothing close to what it did before. Any ideas or suggestions to what I can do or replace. Thanks again. #D50love !!!

check the heater hoses going to the heater core. if one is really hot and the other is just warm then you probably have a clogged heater core.

It could also be the cable that controls the blend door (hot/cold switch on the AC panel). I have seen a bunch of those broken and no matter where you set it, it blows the same.

I would check my rad coolant level first. If that's okay then I would check the heat control cable. It connects to the valve that controls the flow of coolant to the heater. Its up under the dash above the gas pedal. If you follow it back a bit you will see its held by a little spring clip. The cable may have slipped a bit in the clip. Unclip it and put the heat to the hottest setting and then clip it back in. Just recently I had a similar problem with my '88. The air did not blow where it was supposed to because another cable had slipped in the clip
