I may be your only source for pistons and rings unless you buy the china garbage on ebay. Let me know. And BTW none of these 4d55 ever get away with only rings . Do not buy any parts till you tear it apart and see what size bearings you will need etc . Also have a shop measure your block to see where the liners will clean up at. Pistons available at .020 .030 and .040.

Have not pulled engine yet and probably wont till summer, but i just wanna be ready, so most likely liner's or get cylinder honed to what your talking about, bearings and rings? Where should i take my measurement to see what size bearings i need? Sorry, im a noob when it comes to this stuff, i have resealed engines no problem but never pulled block apart, although im sure im fully capable!

Measure everything in a few places to get the lowest reading. Most people drove these things 10-15,000 miles between oil changes because they were too fucking cheap to replace the filter. The engine paid a price as the big oil filters have an automatic bypass when it gets clogged meaning no filtering action!
