carburetor to rebuild or buy remanufacture

I have an 88 might max, It needs some work and i'm pretty sure the carb has an air leak. I know of at least one place that can rebuild it but i know nothing about them and its for $235ish. For a re-manufactured I found one from importcarburetors.com for $219 plus shipping. Is it worth rebuilding it or re-manufactured the way to go? Thank you.

I have never heard any good from people trying to rebuild them themselves, but personally I never tried. I heard there is a TON of little parts in that thing and its easier to buy rebuilt, thats what I did.

I had good luck when I rebuilt mine I think I paid 35 bucks for the kit droppedmitsu Is Right A Lot Of Small Parts In There But If You Take Your Time And Clean Up Every Thing
It should be just fine the trick is the chock getting that set is the tricky part. I ran mine for five years with no problems then I decided to turbo swap my truck.
