    Unhappy Won't Start

My 89 ram 50 was running perfect, better than ever. It would diesel a little sometimes when I turned it off.
I tried to crank it yesterday and it just spins. It never fired once or backfired either. Its got gas and spark at the coil. Its not flooded and never has. What could it be?
    Thanks

Just a thought: perhaps the fuel strainer in the tank gets clogged and overheats the pump. When the pump shuts off, the particles float back off. Re-starts and runs fine until the particles re-group on the strainer. Maybe empty the tank when it's real low and see if you have junk in there.

    It couldn't hoit.
