Thanks guys. Here is the link to my photo bucket.http://s1278.photobucket.com/user/94mitz/slideshow/

Fordubishi, 4 years was a long time, I couldnt imagine 12.

DroppedMitsu, I seen alot of the steel bumpers done on our trucks, so I wanted to do somthing a tad bit different. And I got it for free too.

Heres a slight update. There was 2 spots on the roll pan that I had my dual exhaust comming out of. And when I bagged it, they went away. so I have to weld them up

You can see the trailor ball that I have to stop from dragging the frame Theres one on each side. Didnt have any bondo hardner so I couldnt smooth it over yet.

Slight update. Besides the exciting body work, got the hid in from DroppedMitsu. I hope to get the truck in primer by next week.

for the safety of your truck and for others, please change out the trailer balls for drag blocks - when those balls break off, they will go right through your rollpan and hit things like a cannon ball - think about it. Mini truckin started that trend and within months told people to quit doing it because of the danger of the balls flying off when they broke.

hahahaha... I bet that made a horde noise inside the cab.
Yea that could suck having that flip through the windshield and sticking into the girlfriends for head.
But with this set up you can start a forest fire 2 miles long.

pennyman- I will look into getting the drag blocks. The balls were the cheap alternative. Guess its time to pony up the coin to play wit hthe big boys!

camoit- Little noisy in the cab. And only you can prevent wildfires!

Had a oil leak start in the front ofthe motor, and it agrevated me. So had to fix it. And decided since I was there to change the water pump, balance shaft belt and timing belt too. Tore it apart and will be putting it back together tonight.

I thought the engine looked deciently clean after 170,000 miles. No sludge! I cant wait to take the power washer to it to get it all cleaned up again under there.

I'm a noob when it comes to the bag and drag thing, but (and this is only my opinion...) that is one of the dumbest, most dangerous things I have seen done to a vehicle for a while. If some a-hole did that in front of me and one of those things snapped off and blew a hole in the front of my car, I'd come after him with an axe...

Minitruckin' printed a retraction after they wrote something about welding trailer hitches to the frame upside down and dragging those. Then, of course, the metal would heat up and the ball would fly off. And people were doing this on the freeway. So you could catch a ball of metal through your windshield and into your teeth at 70 MPH.

Sparks aren't really my thing. But I love the way a truck looks aired out. And the ride is so nice. Like a Town Car limo.

Older Mitsu engines are funny. I noticed they hardly ever sludge up. Take a peek inside a Hyundai engine with the same mileage and they look like they've never seen fresh oil...

whats even stranger is that hyundai / kia engines are all mitsu designs licensed to them - its the korean spin on them that is the problem...

Switch to Castrol oil and all that discoloration will eventually disappear. Pennzoil is notoriously a staining oil that makes engines look like that. Changing oil at a decent time also helps, lol.
