    Painting Interior

Getting my 90' MM back on the road here soon and want to get it fixed up one this being paint and maybe painting the interior, like the dash.. My question is, has anyone had any success at painting the dash, as some of the dash is kinda mushy/soft..

Painting the dash is not impossible, but it sounds like you need to determine if it is good enough to paint. Once you figure out if its good, then clean the dashpad with a good detergent cleaner - TSP (tri sodium Phophate) used to clean walls for wallpapering, or the non-phophate equivalent, will remove all vinyl dressings that may have been applied in the past. Then use wax and grease remover, then an adhesion promoter sprayed onto the dashpad will give the paint the ability to stick properly. Geronimo's dashpad was painted this way 22+ years ago and there is no signs of peeling or cracking.
