    what goes here?

    on the left side behind the headlight theres a vacuum canister. theres a port on the bottom rather large compared to the other vaccul lines. where is that port suppose to connect too?

    you replaced that canister with an oil catch can? what'd you do with those vacuum lines?

    I remember someone saying that the bottom port is where the moisture that canister collects is dumped out: it doesn't connect to anything.

    That canister is a fuel tank vapor collection canister and keeps the gas tank from pressurizing to much and lets the carb take in the fumes. When you go to fill up and remove your gas cap, if that canister is disconnected and lines are plugged you will hear pressure escape the fuel tank like opening a bottle of Pepsi. If there is a good close by spark near that air release of fuel vapors, your not going to be a very happy person, lol.

    Check the manual section if you don't get your answer you need. There is sure an answer there if no one gets back with you in a timely manner.

    I just looked at mine and it is not connected to anything. I've had my truck for 4yrs and have no history on it

    I just looked in the factory manual and it shows purge air going into that port. Which I assume would make it a breather or vent
