wow hate typing on my phone! Its an 87! Not really sure where its located in the dash (if its behind the control panel or by the blower motor? or if i can just take off the front of the dash or do i have to go underneath) figured someone has done it before on here!

Hi! On my '86 the switch is fastened to the back of the trim plate... every thing else is some where else and driven by a cable. Keep in mind if you have a speed missing there is also a big old wire resistor they use to drop the voltage for lower speeds. It is usually in the fan box because it gets really HOT at lower speeds and they use the air flow to cool it. Depending where it opens up, it can make one or more speeds inop or cause no blower at all. You did not specify your symptoms, so I can only give a broad over view of "Blower 101"! Cheers!
