    Exhaust Manifold? Alternatives?

Replacing the metal coolant lines ... exhaust are cracked.

    A few questions.

    It's a 91 MM 2.4 EFI

Can I grind then weld on these or is it pointless?
Who or where can I find another?
Does anyone know if a galant, eclipse, or other vehicle that might have used the same exhaust?

I keep replacing part after part so far ... i would prefer a used but it does not look like I am going to find a used one. I can't have it just sitting in the yard for weeks waiting for a part ... i wish someone would make easier to find parts!!!

    Thanks for all the info!

No other car in the US that had our same manifold. They all seem to crack, I've heard welding these cast welded parts do not work well. Parts are hard to find as they have not been in production for almost 20 years for the latest one. This is why we have a for sale section. Try to keep what parts are still around in the market.

Just make sure you need a
    evenly spaced port exhaust O O O O
    uneven port exhaust OO OO

any car or truck with the same engine as yours I'm sure will fit. Welding isn't worth it, it will crack again, but it could work if the person welding knows how to weld thick cast metals. Be sure your heat shield is still installed over the exhaust manifold. This allows a slower cool down and protects from overheating surrounding parts from melting.
Thanks to Mitsubishi's inferior casting metals they will crack. Be sure your smog legal in your state for modifications to exhaust. Example: header
