They usually rust from the inside out, not outside in. Ans once you take the bolts out the pipe should pop out with a little pressure. The o-rings seal it up and the bolts hold it in place. Hope you get it all fixed.

I'm going to see how if fires up in the morning now that it has a new fuel filter. feels a little smoother now especially while driving ... i guess it could have an impact on the idle too!
