where does it go? Can't find a hole that it goes into and it is obviously broken, where can I buy a new one?

Check the wiring diagrams in either our Wiki section or the manuals section. If that is a green and yellow wire I would say temp sensor. I would definitely separate them from touching each other or grounds. The wiring diagrams would be easy to figure out. Look in the under hood section page and look for those color names on the wires. They are very clearly marked.

I believe that is your brake fluid level sensor and should connect at the base of the master cylinder, on the engine side.

You can replace just the sensor, I have taken it out on my truck before.

Should this be throwing the Brake light on the cluster? because it isnt. Not even sure if I need it at this point.

If it was connected it would throw the light on when the float check piece in the brake reservoir became to low, showing a low level warning. As for if you need it or not is up to you. I like mine in because...well it tells me if the fluid is low.
