    Clutch: Change Cable to Hydrolic/

    Aloha

I mentioned on a earlier post that my clutch, on my 1987 Ram 50, is excessively hard to depress. I noticed in the Haynes manual that I seem to have both mechanisms for hydraulic and the cable I have now. Is it possible it was originally a hydraulic clutch. Any way to find out. If it was, how difficult to change it back? If was not originally a hydraulic clutch, how hard to convert it to one. Like I say, it does seem to have the parts for one under the clutch pedalDSCF0339.jpg

Only diesel and v6 trucks came with hydraulic setups. The clutch pedal assembly is different, as is the bell housings which have mounts for the clutch master cylinder
