Its Dont smell like oil but oil is leaking from back exhaust manifold area and water is coming out the exhaust too
Is it head gasket or rings you think
-
Sounds like head gasket, because rings don't get in contact with water unless you cracked something, like a block or head ...have you done a compression test yet? Also sometimes the half moon rubber grommet at back of head and valve cover can leak and look like the area you mentioned is leaking.
Steam or water in exhaust in quantity is a head gasket. Typical Mitsubishi and hopefully you didn't crack the head. Time for a new gasket and get head shaved to a flat surface at local machine shop.

Most likely head gasket. White smoke means water and blue smoke means oil usually

when i bought it 2 weeks ago it went away but now its steady so im just going to test it then change all the gaskets and belts and everything while i got it apart it has 151684 on it right now so if i got to go and tear it all apart might as well change everything else and freshing the whole motor
