    Runs out of steam

My 91 2.4 completely falls on its face past 4000 rpm... it just stops pulling.

Now the truck barely passed emission testing last month so I bought a new cat for it and hope to put it on tomorrow. I'm not sure if that is the issue though.

I cleaned the throttle plate area cause it was dirty but that only helped a bit

    Any ideas?

If not the cat maybe look at a clogged fuel filter? New plugs, wires, dist cap/rotor.....

Its got new plugs/cap/wires/rotor. I'll write more after the cat gets changed.

The cat change did little to fix the issue
