    what's the torque for starter bolts??

    Anybody know the torque requirement for starter bolts? 1988, 2.6. Thanks.

    I had the same question, couldn't find it documented in the Haynes manual, sad to see no answer here. In case anyone else needs to know, I went with 20 lb-ft, as that was about the spec for the lower balljoint bolts that also have 14mm heads.

    Not sure if this is the bolt you are asking about, but this one here is the only one with a torque specification in the starter seccion of the service manual ('87).
