Piff that's just a baby engine, if I was going that direction I would do the all aluminum 816cid Hemi head Big block Ford.Only makes 1150hp with 9.5:1 compression.

I believe there's a fitment and weight issue with the big blocks. I know the small block 5.7 hemi will fit nicely. However it's a cheaply made engine but completely stock with upgraded rods and springs and you'll have a reliable engine and 330hp is enough to move our trucks giving them about a 9:1 power to weight ratio

The Big block I'm talking about weighs 413lbs all put together, and yeah it would be way to big to put in a D-50 without some heavy mods to the cab for space. . But Damn it would be fun to make a full pro-street D-50 with 18.5" or wider meats in back with a full tubular frame and roll cage.

    lol even better 820cid

Besides if I was to do something like that it would be for a 2wd drag racer.

Like our trucks are so aerodynamic that it would be totally worth putting that in one, lol. Drop that monster in a speed boat, now which one would get the most babes?

If you're going to do a motor swap for an excess of power, do it with style... with a fancy belt driven hood scoop Nothing grabs attention quite like a roots blower... Not always good attention, like the amount your giving to the gas gauge as you watch it plummet

600 pounds of really pissed off small block mopar

That's the 340 out of my '74 Duster. I haven't drove it since 2011, when it was Naturally Aspirated. Back then it fed on anything that had wheels.
